Restaurant Maintenance Technician MMPR Group Baton Rouge, LA 70816 • Hybrid work Overview We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning and maintenance of our facilities and equipment. This is a vital role in our organization, as you will play a key part in keeping our operations running smoothly. MMPR Group Maintenance Technician is responsible for the overall maintenance and repair of our Dairy Queen & Dunkin restaurant’s physical facility and equipment. This role involves performing routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and responding to emergency repair needs. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of mechanical systems, electrical systems, and general facility maintenance practices in a restaurant environment. Responsibilities This person will work on daily restaurant maintenance and projects as assigned. This position will also perform general maintenance and repairs on facility equipment and property. Perform preventative maintenance on equipment. Perform building, HVAC, equipment, plumbing, electrical, and repairs as necessary. Maintain inventory of repair equipment and supplies. Assist in other equipment repair and maintenance projects as assigned by the Director. Create new vendor relationships. Determine the cost effectiveness of outsourcing individual job orders. Supervise Vendors performance. Check and update companies internal work order tracking program. Work with Store and Operations management to determine needs of individual stores and/or markets. Perform all job activities using industry standard process and safety requirements Qualifications. Demonstrated proficiency in HVAC, Ice Machines, Ovens, Cold Tables and small appliances repair knowledge and repair skills. Ability to analyze a situation and decide whether it is best to repair or replace the equipment. Able to prioritize and use sound judgment and decision-making. Able to work well independently, with minimal supervision. Ability to follow defined routines and processes. Three to five years’ experience in commercial maintenance. Most work will be in restaurant. Must pass a Background Check. Maintain a valid driver’s license. Ability to work overtime as needed. Ability to work weekends as needed.
