The ideal Handy Man Facilities Maintenance candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge in Plumbing, Electrical, and facilities maintenance. This role involves maintenance activities, fabricating necessary components, and ensuring the efficient operation of equipment and systems. The Facilities Maintenance Technician will maintain a safe and functional environment. Responsibilities Facilities Maintenance Worker will coordinate maintenance activities to ensure the timely completion of tasks. Fabricate parts or components as needed for repairs or upgrades. Read and interpret schematics to troubleshoot and repair equipment effectively. Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on machinery and systems. Utilize mechanical knowledge to diagnose issues with equipment and implement solutions. Perform residential painting and other facility upkeep tasks as required. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory of supplies. Operate tools such as an ohmmeter for electrical diagnostics and troubleshooting. Work with logic controllers to ensure proper operation of automated systems. Experience Proven experience in facilities maintenance, repair, or a related field is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various systems. Familiarity with reading schematics and technical drawings is essential. Experience supervising teams or projects is a plus. Proficiency in English for effective communication within the team and with workers.
