Volt is immediately hiring for a Facilities Custodial Specialist inYoungsville, NC. This is a Full Time Contract to Hire opportunity. As a Facilities Custodial Specialist you will: Work from documented checklists ensuring completion of allareas. Performs proper cleaning methods such as mopping, vacuuming,emptying trash, wiping techniques. Move trash to internal and external dumpsters as required. Performs cleaning of manufacturing equipment and worktables inmanufacturing areas and cleanrooms. Cleans restrooms and employee breakrooms multiple times a day. Washes and cleans first story windows and glass lobby doors. Responsible for the operation and maintenance of cleaning equipmentsuch as vacuum cleaners, carper cleaners and power washer. Responsible for tracking and reporting the inventory levels ofsanitary paper products, cleaning supplies and cleanroom gowningmaterials. Preparation/mixing of cleaning/sanitizing solutions tospecifications. Power washes outside entrances and eating areas. Cleans carpets with steam cleaner equipment as required. Responds to emergency cleaning requests as necessary. Must possess the willingness to learn new concepts to fullyunderstand aseptic technique and always demonstrate propercleanroom behavior. Accurately documents solution prep and cleaning activities inlogbooks according to Good Documentation Practices (GDP’s) The ideal candidate will have: High school diploma or GED required Ability to take direction, work from a task list, work alone andaccomplish the work assigned within the allotted time frames. Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) to ensuresafety and protection from slipping on wet surfaces, cleaningchemical splashes, inhalation and exposure. Must be a team player with ability to provide individual strengthsto increase the overall team effectiveness. Must be flexible with schedule when needed

Pay Rate:
