Facilities Tech

Role and Responsibilities:
Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repair work on mechanical facility.
Maintain, electrical equipment, plumbing systems, building management system, and building repairs
Perform facility inspections and report on condition affecting operations
Respond to emergencies
Prepare and submit summary reports of conditions in buildings and recommend actions to be taken
Review and understand equipment and methods of operation, BMS system, fire/life safety, and other systems
Comply with all safety procedures and requirements
Support any after-hours building needs and activities as required
Attend training sessions and seminars
Other assigned tasks as requested.
Carrying cases of water upstairs
Janitorial responsibility (Bathroom,Offices,Mopping, etc.)
Placing supply orders.
Qualifications:
QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS
Ability to operate heavy equipment, such as a scissor lift, forklift, landscaping equipment, etc.
Ability to operate various hand/power tools
Knowledge of plumbing and electrical fundamentals
Familiar with industrial and mechanical terminology
Analytical mindset with ability to troubleshoot/investigate issues
Strong communication skills
Prioritization skills with ability to thrive in fast paced environment
Problem solving skills
Team oriented with positive can-do attitude
Education and Experience Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent required
Previous General Maintenance experience preferred.
Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and physical
