This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities, contributing to a safe and efficient working environment. Role and Responsibilities
• Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repair work on mechanical facility.
• Maintain, electrical equipment, plumbing systems, building management system, and building repairs
• Perform facility inspections and report on condition affecting operations
• Respond to emergencies
• Prepare and submit summary reports of conditions in buildings and recommend actions to be taken
• Review and understand equipment and methods of operation, BMS system, fire/life safety, and other systems
• Comply with all safety procedures and requirements
• Support any after-hours building needs and activities as required
• Attend training sessions and seminars
• Other assigned tasks as requested.
• Carrying cases of water upstairs
• Janitorial responsibility (Bathroom, Offices, Mopping, etc.)
• Clean the interior of buildings including floors, carpet, rugs, windows and walls
• Clean and disinfect employee breakrooms and exterior employee break areas, and janitorial closets.
• Disinfect commonly used items like desks, door handles, office tools and phones
• Maintain cleaning inventory as needed
• Remove debris from sidewalks
• Empty trash and recycling bins
• Vacuum, sweep and mop floors
• Clean, disinfect, and maintain restrooms, per schedule
• Washing and clean windows and mirrors
• Notify supervisors of unsafe conditions
• Operate floor scrubbers and other equipment
• Dust furniture and fixtures
• Other duties assigned by supervisor

Qualifications/Skills:

• Ability to operate heavy equipment, such as a scissor lift, forklift, landscaping equipment, etc.
• Ability to operate various hand/power tools
• Knowledge of plumbing and electrical fundamentals
• Familiar with industrial and mechanical terminology
• Analytical mindset with ability to troubleshoot/investigate issues
• Strong communication skills
• Prioritization skills with ability to thrive in fast paced environment
• Problem solving skills
• Team oriented with positive can-do attitude
• Placing supply orders

Education and Experience Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Previous General Maintenance experience preferred.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and physical WORK ENVIRONMENT/Physical Requirements
