Volt is immediately hiring Maintenance Technician in Lafayette,IN. Find out exactly what skills, experience, and qualifications youwill need to succeed in this role before applying below. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for:

Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsible for providing an entry level of expertise in respondingto work orders, troubleshooting, and providing preventivemaintenance on the buildings and facilities equipment, fixtures andsystems in an industrial, large commercial, or logisticsenvironment. Provides assistance to other technicians asneeded. Troubleshoots and repairs Conveyor systems, R/O systems, andoverhead cranes, dock locks and levelers, pumps, piping, seals, andvalves, forklift equipment and industrial batteries. Diagnoses, troubleshoots, maintains, and repairs heating andventilation equipment, including VAV and AHU systems. Inspects and repairs roofing systems and materials. Performs office furniture, window, door and hardware repairs. Repairs floor and wall coverings. Assembles and installs shelving and cabinets. Maintains and repairs facility structures, walkways, androadways. Safely operates forklift equipment, hoists and cranes. Performs preventive maintenance as scheduled in the ComputerizedMaintenance Management System (CMMS). Responds and provides service and feedback to the customer on allwork orders while assuring compliance to codes, regulations andindustry standards.

Minimum Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent. 1 year of experience in industrial facility maintenance orequivalent education/experience. Can work at heights up to 30 feet using aerial or scissorlifts. May require a valid driver’s license and ability to obtain asecurity badge. This is a Full-Time, Contract opportunity.
