Summary:
This job description defines the qualifications, requirements, responsibilities, duties and functions of a Maintenance Technician Essential Duties and Responsibilities Maintains a safety & productive workplace Troubleshoots and/or repairs facility, operational and portable equipment as defined by the Company Completes necessary documentation associated with the equipment maintenance program processes Control inventory and order shop supplies according to Company procedures Proposes recommendations to improve the equipment maintenance program processes Performs other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Manager Education and Experience High School diploma, GED Minimum of three (3) years of experience of construction and/or maintenance repairs preferred.
TECHNICAL SKILLS
Ability to read scale drawings for fabrication and/or construction projects Ability to set up a safe and productive work flow General knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems Knowledge of AWS standards preferred Operates forklift and overhead crane
BEHAVIORAL SKILLS
Ability to effectively communicate with coworkers, supervisor, and managers Ability to work independently with occasional supervision Coordinator multiple work requests
