Summary:
- This job description defines the qualifications, requirements, responsibilities, duties and functions of a Fabrication & Maintenance Technician
- Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- + Maintains a safety & productive workplace + Troubleshoots and/or repairs facility, operational and portable equipment as defined by the Company + Completes necessary documentation associated with the equipment maintenance program and fabrication processes + Control inventory and order shop supplies according to Company procedures + Prepares material list based on scale drawings for fabrication or construction projects + Proposes recommendations to improve the equipment maintenance program and fabrication processes + Fabricates infrastructural equipment to support the Operations Department + Performs other duties as assigned by the Fabrication & Maintenance Manager •Education•+ High School diploma, GED •
TECHNICAL SKILLS
- + Ability to read scale drawings for fabrication and/or construction projects + Ability to set up a safe and productive work flow + General knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems + Weld using stick or MIG methods + Operates forklift and overhead crane

- + Ability to effectively communicate with coworkers, supervisor, and managers + Ability to work independently with occasional supervision
