REQUIREMENTS AND DUTIES
The primary purpose of your job position as Facilities Technician is to maintain equipment, facilities, and grounds in a safe and efficient manner, in accordance with established procedures, and as directed by management or your supervisor, to assure that a successful, viable maintenance program exists at all times. You should require only limited supervision. You will operate and maintain facilities and mechanical equipment such as boilers, chillers, pumps, generators, electrical devices, etc. You will perform maintenance utilizing multiple trades such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical, heating ventilation and air conditioning, etc. You will perform testing procedures on various types of installations and equipment. You will move furniture and equipment as needed. High school diploma, with shop courses and at least three (3) years on-the-job training in related crafts/work. Prefer AA degree from a Vo-Tech school or equivalent.
