Bo-Mac Contractors, Ltd. in the New Orleans, LA area is offeringchallenging and exciting career opportunities for Equipment ServiceTechnicians. We are seeking qualified candidates that are focusedon project success and exceeding customer expectations. Qualifiedcandidates must be able to perform all duties listed below safelyand follow all of the company’s safety procedures.
POSITIONRESPONSIBILITIES
Perform scheduled preventative maintenance onindustrial equipment, such as lattice boom cranes, manlifts,hydraulic power units, tugboats, outboard engines, weldingmachines, and generators. Perform monthly crane inspections withoperators. Utilize I-Pad for processing PM work orders. Communicatedaily with Equipment Maintenance Manager. Installation and removalof mechanical components and parts varying in weight and dimensioninside of engine compartments and various heights above the ground,with fall protection measures in place. Environment is both shopand outside, thus the job often involves all weather extremes. Workrequires alert individuals with good balance and physical strength.
Work well with others in a team environment, and able to workovertime as necessary including weekends. Travel as needed.
MINIMUMQUALIFICATIONS 5
years’ experience in preventative maintenance andrepair of heavy industrial equipment Experience with I-Pad andability to navigate through work orders Effective communicationskills, detail oriented, and exceptional organizational skills Musthave own tools TWIC Card Clean Driving Record Able to lift 50lbs
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
Preference given to candidates with at least10 years’ experience performing preventative maintenance and repairto lattice boom crawler cranes, tugboats, and other equipment usedin industrial construction.
