Maintenance Technician Full-time, Permanent On-Site Location:

In this role, you will be responsible forall maintenance activities on equipment and administrativefunctions to support site operations. Responsibilities includesetting up and maintaining tooling measuring equipment, such asmicrometers, height gages, etc. and maintaining tolerances to avoidpoor quality products.

The core responsibilities and dutiesinclude:

Must be able to operate & maintain various equipmenttypically found in a wood production facility Demonstrated abilityto effectively anticipate and diagnose problems and to performmechanical maintenance Perform routine administrative functionsincluding ability to update & maintain routine inventory accuratelyand efficiently Performs housekeeping duties as requested, isresponsible for keeping designated area clean and clear of safetyhazards Monitor and optimize stock inventories of new tooling, inprocess tooling, heaters, etc. Collaborate with suppliers onquality issues, specifications, etc. Inspect equipment and recordor report damage and mechanical problems Record or reportoperational data such as readings on meters, instruments, andgauges Who you are? Do you have? High school diploma or equivalentrequired Minimum of 5 years industrial experience Ability to adaptto working within a team with minimal supervision Maintain andadjust equipment to maximize production and minimize downtime Musthave a professional attitude and work well with others Promote asafe working environment and follow all workplace and job safetyprocedures Perform/coordinate good housekeeping in the facility Usedaily checklists, PM’s and Work Orders to maintain optimalperformance of the plants Microsoft Office proficient Capable ofmechanical tasks including bearing replacement, motor alignments,basic rigging knowledge, basic welding knowledge, multi-craftskills (electrical knowledge a plus) Must be able to work atheights as needed or on elevated surfaces What’s it like to work atDrax?
