We are seeking a highlyskilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician for our operations inthe food manufacturing industry. This role is integral to ourproduction efficiency and the successful candidate will beresponsible for ensuring that our machinery and equipment arealways in optimal working condition. You will be part of a dynamicteam that is instrumental in maintaining the smooth running of ourproduction processes. If you are a self-starter who thrives in achallenging environment, enjoys problem-solving and has a strongtechnical background, particularly in Electrical, PLC, andmechanical systems, this job is for you. You will be the backboneof our production line, ensuring that our operations run seamlesslyand efficiently.

Responsibilities:

Conduct regular inspections ofmachinery and equipment to identify potential issues and fix thembefore they escalate. Perform preventive maintenance tasks to keepequipment running efficiently. Troubleshoot and repairmalfunctioning machinery and equipment. Interpret and implementtechnical instruction, blueprints, and diagrams. Work closely withthe production team to understand equipment needs and planmaintenance work accordingly. Respond to emergency breakdowns andperform immediate repairs to minimize downtime. Maintain accurateand up-to-date maintenance records. Adhere to all safety protocolsand procedures to ensure a safe working environment. Stay updatedon industry trends and advancements in technology to proposeimprovements in maintenance processes.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 3years of experience in a similar role in the Manufacturing orProduction industry. Proven expertise in Electrical, PLC, andmechanical systems. Proficient in preventive maintenance andequipment repair. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solvingskills. Excellent understanding of safety protocols in themanufacturing industry. Ability to interpret technicalinstructions, blueprints, and diagrams. Strong communication andteamwork skills. Ability to work independently and make sounddecisions. Ability to work under pressure and handle emergencies.

Must be willing to work night shifts and be on-call foremergencies. Relevant certification or degree in a technical fieldis preferred. Interested in hearing more?
