Westaff is Looking for a Preventive Maintenance Technician in Monroe, LA

Pay:

$13.70/Hour

Hours:

M-Th 5:00AM to 3:30PM

Job Duties:

Perform routine checks on machines and equipment to mitigate damages and eliminate downtime.
Ensure that safety standards are maintained in the course of performing duties.
Coordinate with other departments and employees as needed to minimize interruption of production processes.
Maintain records as required related to the maintenance and housekeeping functions.
Maintain work area in a neat and orderly condition.
Close work orders in the preventive maintenance program.
Ensure the work area is free of hazardous objects and substances.
Perform 5s activities on tools, machines, assembly, and maintenance areas.
Carry out verbal and written instructions.
Safe operation of a man lifts and fork truck.
Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Required Experience:

Minimum of one-year preventive maintenance experience desired.
Requires the ability to read, write, and perform mathematical calculations. Requires the ability to read PM instructions, find desired equipment within the facility, and perform the listed instructions.
Follow moderatelyplex verbal and/or written instructions.
Training in inspection and maintenance procedures are desired.
Must be able to perform basicputer functions.
