Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Greeting each customer with, “Good (morning, afternoon, evening)! Welcome to Rouses!” Engaging in appropriate conversations with customers and thanking them for choosing to shop with us Mopping, sweeping, cleaning and dusting sales floor, front end, back room, break room and rest room areas Operating the floor buffer and waxer, following safety regulations/hazard control standards Cleaning glass in the front of the building Maintaining a clean and litter-free parking lot Understanding the store layout to easily locate products for customers Maintaining a professional personal brand representation in the proper Rouse’s uniform Reporting to work on time and as scheduled Other duties, as assigned
Qualifications:
Prior experience working with cleaning equipment Able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen Must be at least 18 years of age to operate powered equipment
Physical Requirements:
Able to stand for extended periods of time Able to distinguish product quality and freshness standards Able to stoop, squat, reach and maneuver to move product, boxes, bags, shelving, carts and equipment Able to lift 50 lbs.
