Public Works Maintenance Technician I Beau Chene Homeowners Association LLC Mandeville, LA 70471 Job Overview We’re looking for a dedicated Public Works Maintenance Tech I team member to assist in the maintenance, repair, and operation of key infrastructure systems. Under the supervision of the Assistant Public Works Director or Lead Operator, this role supports water and wastewater systems, stormwater infrastructure, street repairs, and general HOA facility maintenance. Responsibilities Water and sewer repair and maintenance Drainage and stormwater systems Street repairs, potholing, and patching Signage and mailbox repairs or replacements Support water/wastewater system maintenance under the guidance of certified operators Perform inspections and basic maintenance of: Sewer lift stations Service valves, hydrants, regulators, pumps, and tanks Maintain tools and equipment in safe operating condition Assist with documenting maintenance and repair activities Work independently or on a crew performing manual labor in varying conditions Provide professional and courteous service to residents and HOA personnel Participating in on-call and weekend duties as assigned Perform other general public works duties as required Basic Qualifications Valid driver’s license High School Diploma or GED Ability to safely and effectively operate hand and power tools Physically able to perform manual labor tasks without restrictions Familiarity with water, wastewater, and drainage systems preferred Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions Professional appearance, attitude, and customer service focus Working Conditions Outdoor work in all weather conditions Exposure to loud machinery, pressurized systems, confined spaces, heights, fumes, and possible biohazards Requires frequent bending, lifting up to 50 lbs, kneeling, climbing, and use of safety equipment Must be able to access high-clearance equipment and traverse large job sites

$17.00 – $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week
