Machine Maintenance 3.8 3.8 out of 5 stars North Dighton, MA 02764 Machine Maintenance Technician Position Objective The Machine Maintenance Technician ensures optimal uptime and performance of all machines in our North Dighton manufacturing plant. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you’ll respond to breakdowns, perform troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance to support safe, efficient and quality-focused operations. Key Responsibilities Rapidly respond to machine breakdowns with urgency; diagnose and correct mechanical and electrical issues. Perform preventive maintenance, lubrication, filter replacements, and routine inspections per schedule.
Repair or replace faulty components:
belts, pumps, motors, hydraulics, pneumatics, PLCs, drives, heaters, thermocouples, and controls. Install, align, and calibrate machinery; assist in startup and validation of production lines. Interpret electrical and mechanical schematics, blueprints, and manuals for diagnostics and repairs.
Ensure safety compliance:
adhere to lockout/tagout policies, wear PPE, follow OSHA guidelines. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required; technical diploma or certification preferred. 2-5 years of industrial mechanical/electrical maintenance experience (extrusion, packaging, resin handling) Strong mechanical troubleshooting and electrical skills Proficiency with hand/power tools, measuring instruments, meters, welders, lifts, etc.

Monday thru Friday / 7:00am to 3:00pm
Pay Rate:
