Position Summary:
The Maintenance Technician will be responsible forpreventive maintenance, inspections, installations, and repairs on allassigned equipment to ensure their proper operation and function inaccordance with safety regulations and company policy. What you?
ll do:
Perform routine inspections, basic installations, and minor repairs.
Perform general building maintenance which may include carpentry,painting, light plumbing, changing of light bulbs, and repair of minorelectrical devices. Maintain all records, such as work orders andnecessary reports to ensure accurate recording of activities for codeand regulatory purposes. Process work requests and turn in completedwork requests in a timely and professional manner. Utilize electronicsystem to order necessary parts, devices, etc. to properly repair orcomplete assigned work orders, following department procedures. Maintainall tools and equipment in clean, safe, working order. Maintain adequateinventory of related parts to perform assigned duties. Maintaintechnical skills and required certifications to perform job duties.
Adhere to all safety requirements and wear the proper PersonalProtective Equipment required by the job. Respond to emergencysituations to ensure employee and facility safety. Report possiblesafety issues and recommend appropriate changes. Comply with OSHA, andother local, state and federal regulations. Maintain friendly,efficient, positive customer service attitude toward customers, clientsand co-workers. Respond professionally to departmental needs.
About you:
1+ year experience in facility maintenance required. An associates?degree in mechanical, electrical or industrial maintenance.
