We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Residential Building Cleaner to maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the common areas of a residential property. This role focuses exclusively on shared spaces such as lobbies, hallways, elevators, stairwells, leasing offices, and other public/common-use areas within the building. This is a 40 hour a week position and is a
TEMPORARY ROLE
to cover for a leave of absence.
Requirements:
Clean and disinfect all common area surfaces Building lobbies and entranceways Hallways and corridors Elevators (interior and exterior doors, buttons, panels) Stairwells and handrails Leasing and management office areas (as directed) Shared bathrooms (if applicable) Dust, sweep, vacuum, and mop floors regularly Empty and clean trash and recycling receptacles in common areas Clean glass doors, windows, and mirrors in high-traffic areas Maintain cleanliness of mailrooms, package rooms, or amenity areas (if applicable) Restock cleaning supplies and inform supervisor of low inventory Follow safety and sanitation policies and procedures Report maintenance issues or damages to management promptly Ensure cleaning equipment is used and maintained properly
