Pay range•$26•28/HR #GRPC Job Summary A Maintenance Technician is responsible for keeping a facility operating and repairing any problems when they are discovered before they have a chance to worsen. A Maintenance Technician will usually be required to perform a wide range of repair tasks around a facility. Duties Fixing potential safety hazards to avoid injuries Installing new production equipment Servicing and maintaining equipment including motors, conveyor systems, transmission systems, and production-related equipment Inspecting and assessing the functionality of production machines Troubleshooting mechanical breakdowns Adjusting mechanical parts using hand and machine tools Fabricating parts for repairs and machine upgrades Conducting routine maintenance and safety checks Communicating with production team and maintaining a clean work area Preparing and submitting maintenance reports Performs other duties as assigned Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, is essential for effective communication within the team. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in a manufacturing facility setting. Familiarity with ammeters and other electrical testing equipment is preferred. Experience in stick welding techniques is advantageous. Knowledge of low voltage systems and HVAC/R principles is a plus. Ability to operate scissor lifts safely, with relevant certifications preferred but not required. A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to maintaining high safety standards.
