POSITION SUMMARY

SugarbushResort is seeking Level 3 Lift Maintenance Technicians to join ourMountain Operations team. Lift Maintenance Mechanics ensure thesafety and reliability of our lifts by monitoring, maintaining andrepairing lift equipment in accordance with all applicable rulesand regulations. The ideal candidate holds a competentmechanical/electrical skill set and demonstrates an ability topositively work as part of a larger team. There is a $2000 sign-onbonus, split and paid out $1000 after 6 months of work and $1000after 12 months of work.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Maintain and repair alllift equipment, ranging from conveyors to high-speed detachablequads. Duties during the winter operating season include regularlyscheduled maintenance, pre-operational, mid-day, weekly, andmonthly inspections as well as responding to lift breakdowns. Thesummer season includes a thorough inspection of all liftcomponents, tower work, and grip and chair maintenance. Work onhydraulic systems, braking systems, rigging, gasoline and dieselengines up to 900 Hp, as well as low voltage safety circuits.

QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum twoyears of mechanical or electrical experience. Detachable liftexperience is a plus. Must be able to work under timelines andpressure. Must be able and willing to work independently as well aspart of a larger team. Adherence to all safety policies andprocedures is a must. This job requires the ability to climb andwork at substantial heights and in all kinds of weather. Must beable to lift and carry loads up to 100 pounds. Valid driver’slicense necessary. Requires working on weekends and holidays. Mustrecognize and adhere to safety concerns and established protocol.
