$45-50 Job Description Join our team as a Maintenance Technician, where you will work in a dynamic environment ensuring the smooth operation of our production facilities. You will play a crucial role in maintaining equipment and systems, contributing to the production of high-quality food products. Responsibilities Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment such as gearboxes, conveyers, and matrix systems. Troubleshoot electrical and PLC control systems, ensuring minimal downtime. Work with ammonia systems safely and efficiently. Conduct maintenance tasks involving hydraulics, pneumatics, and industrial maintenance. Utilize hand tools and perform welding, HVAC, plumbing, and installation tasks as needed. Essential Skills 10+ years of experience in food manufacturing or pharmaceutical industry following GMPs. Proficiency in working with gearboxes, conveyers, and matrix systems. Experience with PLC troubleshooting and electrical systems. Knowledge of working with ammonia systems. Additional Skills & Qualifications Fireman’s License 2nd class 1 Boiler is a significant advantage. Experience with electrical controls is beneficial. Experience in biotech, packaging, or related fields is advantageous. Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Norwood, Massachusetts. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $45.00 – $50.00/hr.
