What You’ll BeDoing:
As a Maintenance Technician, your day-to-day will involveaddressing resident service requests, performing diverse hands-onmaintenance tasks, and ensuring market-ready apartments.
Additionally, you will perform preventative maintenance andmaintain the grounds and common areas, reporting any concerns.

What You’ll Need To Thrive:
Ability totroubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, appliances, HVACequipment (if applicable), and perform interior repairs andpainting preferred. High School diploma or equivalent Knowledge offederal and state apartment housing laws A valid driver’s license,good driving record, auto insurance, and reliable transportation isrequired if the employee will operate a motorized vehicle (e.g.,car, golf cart) during their workday and/or as part of their role.
Computer literacy and effective communication skills; Must be ableto effectively communicate both orally and in writing in Englishfor all work-related purposes. Must be able to work any assignedshift, including weekends. Shifts may change according to businessneeds. Must be able to respond to emergencies after normal businesshours and on weekends when assigned on-call responsibilities. Atelephone number where you can be reached after-hours must beprovided to your manager. Ability to perform numerous physicalactivities that require considerable use of your hands, arms andlegs and moving your whole body, including prolonged or repeatedstanding, walking, climbing, sweeping, stooping,kneeling,shoveling, crouching, lifting and handling of materials.
Frequent lifting,grasping and carrying materials and equipment upto 50 lbs. Service team employees, with limited exceptions, arerequired to use their own smartphone to perform certain aspects oftheir job. The device must have updated software and must bepassword-protected and compliant with in-house security systems andoperations software.
Bonus Qualifications:
Trade schoolcertification/diploma EPA Section 608 Type I, Type II or Universalcertification Residential or commercial property management,hospitality, or retail experience
Salary:
$23.59 – $28.83/hour Thesuccessful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based onjob-related skills, experience, and qualifications. Employees areeligible for overtime pay and performance incentives. A validdriver’s license, good driving record, auto insurance, and reliabletransportation is required if the employee will operate a motorizedvehicle (e.g. car, golf cart, etc.) during their workday and/or aspart of their role.
