POSITION DUTIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Ensure that work and cleaning schedules are followed as closely as is practical. Performs routine cleaning assignments in resident living and/or common areas. Discard waste and trash into proper containers and reline trash receptacles with plastic liner. Spot clean inside and outside of trash receptacle when needed. Clean and prepare vacant resident rooms for occupancy. Pick up soiled linens from resident rooms and deliver them to the laundry room. Perform isolation-cleaning procedure in accordance with established infection control procedures.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or equivalent Valid Driver’s License Ability to read and write English proficiently Generalized knowledge in the use of EVS equipment Prior knowledge of floor stripping, burnishing, and carpet cleaning preferred.
