Maintenance Technician Foothills Management Farmington, ME 04938 Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities through proactive maintenance and repair of equipment, systems, and structures. This role requires a strong understanding of various maintenance disciplines, including electrical work, plumbing, and building maintenance. The Maintenance Technician will also play a key role in providing excellent customer service to our residents and ensuring their satisfaction. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment and systems to ensure optimal performance. Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, including wiring, lighting, appliances and circuit breakers. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using company forms and property management system. Read and interpret schematics to diagnose issues effectively. Conduct residential painting tasks to maintain aesthetic quality in living spaces. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing resident concerns promptly and professionally. Assist in the training and leadership of junior maintenance staff as needed. Turn units within 7 days.

Including but not limited to:

Cleaning, Painting and Repairs. Maintaining cleanliness of grounds and buildings.

Winter maintenance:

some snow removal ; salting etc. Skills Proficiency with filling out forms for tracking maintenance tasks and schedules. Extensive knowledge of apartment maintenance practices. Electrical expertise with the ability to troubleshoot various systems. Leadership abilities to guide team members in completing tasks safely and efficiently. Capability to think outside the box. Ability to read schematics accurately for effective troubleshooting. Experience in residential and apartment painting techniques for maintaining property aesthetics. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on resident satisfaction. Proficient in English for clear communication with residents and team members. •Hourly wage is dependent on experience. 6 month probation period with the opportunity for a raise after 30 days and 60 days depending on performance and continued employment.
