Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician Job Description Join our team as an Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician in a dynamic plastics manufacturing plant. This role involves performing setups, changeovers, disassembly, and assembly of various machinery including extrusion machines, heaters, vacuums, and compressors. Responsibilities Perform setup and changeover of machinery including extrusion machines, heaters, vacuums, and compressors. Disassemble and assemble different types of machinery efficiently. Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical issues. Ensure machinery operates smoothly and efficiently to maintain production standards. Essential Skills Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills. Experience as a maintenance technician. Ability to perform machine setup and changeover. Proficient in handling extrusion machines and compressors. Work Environment Work in a busy, unionized manufacturing plant specializing in rubber products. Opportunities are available on the 2nd and 3rd shifts. The environment may be dirty, reflective of a rubber manufacturing facility, so be prepared for hands-on, practical work. You will train on first shift with a lead technician for 6-12 months to get the best training and experience possible. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Cape Girardeau, Missouri. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $63356.80 – $74000.00/yr.
