We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to join our team in a factory production floor environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of equipment and systems, including CNC machines, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, electrical components, and fabricated structures. This hands-on role requires a high level of technical skill, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining production uptime and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment and machinery. Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical systems. Fabricate and weld custom parts, brackets, and repairs as needed. Maintain and repair CNC machining equipment, including understanding tooling, fixturing, and basic program functions. Use and update the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to log maintenance activities and track equipment performance. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and PLC logic diagrams to identify and resolve issues. Assist in the installation, testing, and commissioning of new equipment and machinery. Follow all safety guidelines and regulations to maintain a clean and hazard-free work environment. Communicate effectively with production and engineering teams to coordinate maintenance activities.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in maintenance-related field preferred. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing maintenance role. Proficient in welding and fabrication (MIG/TIG/stick). Solid knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems. Familiarity with PLC logic and ability to assist in troubleshooting automation equipment. Hands-on experience with CNC machining equipment and related controls. Basic computer skills and experience using CMMS software. Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced production environment. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and commitment to safety.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods. Capable of climbing ladders, bending, kneeling, and working in confined spaces when necessary.
