Full Job Description Position Overview:

The Club Maintenance Technician plays a key support role in maintaining the overall appearance, safety, and functionality of Oakwood Country Club’s facilities and grounds. This hands-on position is ideal for someone dependable, proactive, and eager to learn. Flexibility to work weekends during peak season (May-September) is essential. Education and/or

Experience:

High school diploma or GED required. 1-2 years of general maintenance experience preferred. Vocational training in plumbing, HVAC, electrical, or carpentry is a plus.

Primary Responsibilities:

Assist with repairs involving lighting, plumbing, basic carpentry, and painting. Perform preventative maintenance tasks under supervisor direction. Support event setup and teardown (tables, decorations, signage, etc.). Maintain tools, equipment, and workshop areas in good condition. Respond to maintenance requests and work orders promptly. Monitor and replenish basic maintenance supply inventory. Ensure clubhouse, restrooms, and public areas are in good repair. Report any hazards or facility concerns to the Maintenance Supervisor.

Work Schedule & Expectations:

Primarily needed Friday-Tuesday during peak season (May through September); off season will be Monday-Friday with weekends and evenings as needed for special events. Must be dependable and willing to assist during emergencies or special events.
