Full-Time | Hourly | Weekends & Evenings Required About the Role New Urban Residential is seeking a skilled and HVAC-certified Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role is critical to ensuring our residents enjoy a safe, clean, and well-maintained living environment. You’ll be responsible for completing work orders, preparing units for new residents, and responding to maintenance emergencies. • Complete all assigned work orders efficiently, ensuring quality repairs and resident satisfaction.
• Perform HVAC diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance in compliance with EPA certification standards.
• Turn over vacant units to “move-in ready” condition, with a goal of at least 5 units per week.
• Conduct routine inspections of property systems and common areas (e.g., A/C units, roofs, lighting, walkways).
• Maintain organized maintenance shops and ensure safe storage of tools and chemicals.
• Support groundskeeping, pool maintenance, and upkeep of recreational areas.
• Respond to on-call emergencies, including fire, flood, or urgent resident needs.
• Travel to other properties as needed (transportation required).
• Assist with resident events, community notices, and light community engagement tasks.
• Represent New Urban Residential’s values in every interaction—with residents, teammates, and leadership. Qualifications

EPA HVAC

Certification required

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a maintenance or related role
• Strong work ethic and commitment to delivering excellent service
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and liability insurance
• Ability to lift/push/pull 25-50 lbs. and perform physical tasks (climbing, kneeling, crouching, reaching)
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and work independently or as part of a team Why Join Us?
