Full Job Description Position Summary:

The Residential Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing a variety of general maintenance and repair tasks across multiple residential properties. This includes preventive maintenance, repairs, and responding to service requests in a timely and professional manner.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and appliances Complete resident service requests promptly and efficiently Conduct inspections and identify maintenance needs or safety issues Prepare units for new residents (make-ready tasks, painting, fixture replacements, etc.) Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of common areas, grounds, and equipment rooms Collaborate with property managers and other team members to ensure work orders are tracked and completed Respond to emergency maintenance calls on a rotating on-call schedule Ensure all work complies with company standards and safety protocols

Requirements:

2+ years of experience in residential maintenance or similar role Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general repair Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Good communication and interpersonal skills Must be able to lift 50 lbs and work in various conditions (indoors/outdoors) Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation Ability to pass background check and drug screening
