Full Job Description Compensation :
$22.98/hr The Maintenance Technician III oversees the ongoing maintenance functions of specified facility or facilities’ physical plants, equipment and grounds in order to provide a safe and clean environment that meets the standards of all applicable regulatory authorities.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS – JOB SPECIFIC
Conduct regular training with in-house staff on department-related material Participate in regular departmental and committee meetings as assigned Complete work orders that require higher skill levels Assist with in-house construction projects Enter data into computerized work order management system Keep tools maintained and inventoried Work with minimal supervision and with multiple types of tools to complete assigned tasks Other duties as assigned based on the needs of the company and the department
WORKING CONDITIONS & EXPOSURE RISK
Regular exposure to electrical hazards Exposure to biohazard and/or chemical waste materials Operating vehicles or machinery
Job Requirements:
High School/GED required Associates degree preferred
WORK EXPERIENCE/TRAINING/ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
At least five (5) years’ experience in an institutional or healthcare maintenance position preferred Advanced skill-level in at least two (2) trades preferred Working knowledge of building blueprints preferred Working knowledge of NFPA National Building Codes, National Fire Codes, and Building Codes preferred Working knowledge of JCAHO, Medicare/Medicaid and OSHA requirements regarding safety and equipment preferred The ability to juggle multiple projects on multiple sites, collaborate with multiple disciples and coordinate with multiple vendors and contractors preferred A valid driver’s license at the time of hire required Compass Health Network is a nonprofit health care organization offering accessible, comprehensive, & compassionate behavioral health, substance use treatment, family medicine and dental services throughout Missouri.
