Position Overview:

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the upkeep and repair of mechanical equipment and machinery. They ensure all mechanical systems operate safely and efficiently to meet production and user requirements. This role specifically involves working with custom balloon manufacturing machines.

Responsibilities:

Understand and follow all established company rules, regulations, GMPs, safety procedures, and policies. Perform regular preventive maintenance on production machinery and equipment. Maintain consistent and punctual attendance. Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills when interacting with management and team members. Use hand tools, power tools, and electrical meters to perform testing and repairs. Perform a variety of mechanical tasks, including troubleshooting and repairs involving mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems. Work cooperatively with others on a daily basis to support production needs. Set up, adjust, and operate machinery by following written and verbal instructions.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds independently. Must have the physical ability to access, inspect, and work in and around all areas of machinery, including bending, reaching, standing, climbing, and kneeling as needed. Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time in a production environment. Must have the ability to use hands and fingers to handle tools and machine components with precision.
