Role:

We are looking for a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician (Millwright) to join the Maintenance team at our Wood Pellet Manufacturing facility. This role is essential for maintaining plant equipment, ensuring optimal operation, and minimizing downtime. If you have strong mechanical skills, a safety-first mindset, and experience in a manufacturing setting, we encourage you to apply.

What will you do:

As our new Industrial Maintenance Technician, you will be required to: Ensure all work is performed safely, following local, state, and federal regulations. Execute planned and preventative maintenance tasks to keep equipment running efficiently. Troubleshoot and repair equipment issues using critical thinking skills. Read and understand blueprints, schematics, and technical documents. Apply mechanical maintenance skills, including hydraulics, lubrication, conveyor systems, and welding (MiG and stick). Maintain and optimize equipment, tools, and workstations. Keep accurate logs of labor, materials, and equipment usage. Communicate equipment issues and maintenance updates effectively to the team. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, including 5S projects and root cause analysis. Ensure compliance with safety protocols such as LOTO, Confined Space, Hot Work, and Working at Heights. Perform other related duties as assigned.

About You:

To succeed in this role, you should possess the following qualifications, knowledge and abilities: High school diploma or equivalent (trade school or college preferred). Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Industrial Mechanic or Millwright. OSHA 10 training and safety compliance experience required. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Exceptional mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn and assist in all tasks. Flexibility to work extended hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Ability to work rotating shifts (day, evening, and night). Comfortable working at heights, in confined spaces, and outdoors. Able to lift up to 50 pounds. Must pass a drug and alcohol screening and background check.
