The primary purpose of this position is to maintain the facilities in good working order by performing preventive maintenance such as repairs, installations, renovations, etc., and correcting any hazards or defects in the facility; all while ensuring compliance with applicable policies, procedures, and safety rules.
Responsibilities:
Provide general support for various functions within facilities management department.
Maintain the building systems including but not limited to HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire protection, and life safety systems.
Respond to emergency situations related to building systems and initiate appropriate action to ensure minimal disruption to operations.
Install, repair, paint, and clean various equipment and fixtures in the office setting.
Operates assigned vehicle to transport materials, tools, and equipment to and from work sites as needed.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirement:
Typically requires 1+ years of related experience.
Additional Qualifications:
Education/Training:
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience:
Previous experience in building maintenance preferred
Skills:
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Computer Skills:
Basic computer skills required.
Other Qualifications:
Ability to operate powered industrial trucks (i.e. Forklift)Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted.
Must be able to perform work safely at heights of up to 12 feet.
