Maintenance Technician Position Available In DeSoto, Mississippi

Aerotek is hiring a Maintenance Technician Responsibilities Perform concrete work and floor patching with epoxy floor repair. Set up barriers in the warehouse, including pouring concrete. Change bulbs and conduct basic electrical conduit wiring (120-277 voltage). Maintain dock plates and automatic roll-up doors. Ensure safety measures are followed at all times. Essential Skills Experience in maintenance technician roles. Proficiency in facilities maintenance and building repair. Ability to perform electrical troubleshooting and concrete finishing. Experience with drywall and sheetrock repair. Knowledge of painting, dock doors, and dock lifts. Additional Skills & Qualifications Previous experience working on dock doors/lifts is advantageous. Ability to read schematics is highly desirable. Mild conduit electrical abilities (120-277 voltage). Proficiency in painting walls, buildings, and floors. Basic plumbing skills required (major plumbing issues will be handled by a plumber). OSHA 10 training is mandatory, OSHA 30 is preferred. Strong safety orientation is a must. Work Environment You will work on the 1st shift from 8 am to 4:30 pm, with potential weekend rotations or on-call duties. The work takes place in a distribution environment that includes cooler and freezer areas, with temperatures of 34 degrees in the cooler and -10 degrees in the freezer. The facility is new, and some areas such as the parking lot are still under development. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $28.00 – $35.00/hr.
