Pine Belt Mental Healthcare Resources has an immediate opening for a motivated Children’s Day Treatment Assistant to provide services for a day treatment classroom. This position will be stationed in Hattiesburg, MS. Pine Belt Mental Healthcare Resources is looking for a positive and ambitious person who is great with communication skills to fill this position. The Children’s Day Treatment Assistant must be able to problem solve, multi-task multiple projects, and think independently. Must be able to obtain Class D Driver’s License within 30 days of hire. Experience working with children preferred. For 50 years, Pine Belt Mental Healthcare Resources has served individuals throughout the Pine Belt. Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent Class D driver’s license required within 30 days of hire
Valid driver’s license with satisfactory driving record required
Behavioral health experience preferred
Experience working in a classroom setting preferred
Responsibilities:
Monitors student behaviors and provides redirection when needed, including modeling appropriate behaviors.
Assists the Master’s degree Therapist in the classroom with instruction, clerical duties, and student activities.
Provides transportation for the program using company van.
