Handyman/Maintenance Technician BugPro Pest and Termite Control 121 Highway 90, Waveland, MS 39576 Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks to ensure the functionality and safety of our facilities. This role requires a strong background in facilities maintenance, electrical systems, and customer service. The Maintenance Technician will work both independently and as part of a team to maintain high standards of quality and safety. Duties Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs and potential issues. Perform repairs and maintenance on electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, and other facility equipment. Fabricate components as needed for repairs or improvements. Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders and maintenance schedules. Interpret schematics and technical drawings to assist with repairs and installations. Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to maintenance requests from residents or staff. Supervise junior maintenance staff or contractors when necessary, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and safely. Assist with residential painting projects as required. Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Qualifications Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including logic controllers. Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical documents. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English. Experience in supervising teams is preferred but not mandatory. Proficiency in residential painting techniques is a plus. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
