Qualifications:

Responsibilities:

TheMaintenance Mechanic tends to production machines such as filler,packaging, cappers, labeler, and palletizers used for bottlingwater. This position will perform troubleshooting and repairs toequipment as needed.

Job Summary:

The Maintenance Mechanicresponsible for preventative maintenance and repair on equipmentused in the production process for bottling water, storage ofwater, handling of water, and testing of water. The position isresponsible for a highly diversified range of duties (troubleshoot,adjustments, dismantle, installs, repair, and maintain productionand facility equipment). Experience with PLC, servos, conveyors,packaging equipment, blow mold, injection mold label applications,coding equipment and bottling is a plus. The Maintenance Mechanicshould be a self-starter and capable of managing time and projectswith minimal supervision. All work should be completed inaccordance with company policy, OSHA guidelines and state laws asapplicable.

Essential Job Duties:

Operates all production machineryin accordance with attached specifications Operates all blow moldmachinery in accordance with attached specifications Carries aradio at all times while on shift to be fully accessible to teamCarries a tool bag with all required tools at all times while onshift Leads team in changeover processes Leads team in preventativemaintenance process Performs basic cleaning of machinery Proficientin blow mold operations Performs all repair tasks andtroubleshooting necessary to keep bottling lines operatingefficiently Ability to rotate as needed Assist in training of newemployees Ensures through constant observation and routineinspections that high quality product is being produced Ensuresthat proper GMP rules and cleanliness is being administeredthroughout production processes Reports all emergencies, injuries,and production incidents immediately to shift supervisor

GMP & PPERequired:

While on the production floor in the plant you will berequired to follow and help to enforce all GMP regulations in theplant. Anyone entering the production floor must follow the GMPrules in their employee handbook, which includes the requiredhairnets, beard nets, and earplugs. It is also required that allpersonnel wear safety glasses. Follows standard operatingprocedures including quality checks and procedures for alloperations. Meets food safety and quality objectives and therequirements of the SQF System. Non-Essential Job Duties Willperform other related work as assigned by the Manager.
