Maintenance Technician Job Description We are currently seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team in Magnolia, MS. The ideal candidate will perform troubleshooting and repair tasks on a variety of industrial equipment, including conveyor systems. The role involves performing preventative, predictive, and reactive maintenance at a container plant specializing in paper products and boxes. Responsibilities Troubleshoot and repair industrial equipment, including conveyor systems. Perform preventative, predictive, and reactive maintenance tasks. Conduct maintenance repairs involving hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical systems. Work with 3 phase motors and gearboxes. Engage in PLC and electrical troubleshooting. Weld and perform electrical repairs as needed. Read and interpret schematics and blueprints. Essential Skills Proficiency in hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical systems. Experience with 3 phase motors and gearboxes. Ability to perform preventive maintenance. Skilled in schematic and blueprint reading. PLC troubleshooting expertise. Electrical troubleshooting capabilities. Additional Skills & Qualifications 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience. Experience with conveyor systems or industrial machinery. Mechanical experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, gearboxes, and 3 phase motors. Electrical experience with 480V and wiring 3 phase motors. Ability to understand wiring schematics and circuitry.
