Maintenance Technician Job Description We have an exciting opportunity in Magnolia, MS for a Maintenance Technician. This role involves troubleshooting and repairing a variety of industrial equipment, including conveyor systems, at a container plant specializing in paper products and boxes. The technician will perform preventative, predictive, and reactive maintenance. Responsibilities Troubleshoot and repair industrial equipment, including conveyor systems. Perform preventative, predictive, and reactive maintenance tasks. Work with hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical components. Handle 3 phase motors, gearboxes, and pumps. Conduct PLC and electrical troubleshooting. Read and interpret schematics and blueprints. Perform maintenance repairs and welding as needed. Essential Skills 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience. Experience with conveyor systems or industrial machinery. Mechanical experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, gearboxes, and 3 phase motors. Ability to perform electrical troubleshooting and understand circuitry. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with 480V electrical systems. Ability to wire up 3 phase motors. Familiarity with reading and understanding wiring schematics. Why Work Here? Work Environment The role is based in a manufacturing facility. The schedule includes a rotating night shift, with options of a 3 on 2 off/2 on 3 off pattern or a 4 on 4 off shift, working from 7pm to 7am. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Magnolia, Mississippi. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $33.00 – $33.00/hr.
