Maintenance Technician, Class C
Iuka, MS, United States

JOB DESCRIPTION

Key Accountabilities
Reading and interpreting electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical drawings to understand equipment specifications for installation, service, and repair purposes.
Installing new production equipment and ensuring proper setup.
Servicing and maintaining equipment, including motors, conveyor systems, transmission systems, and other production-related machinery.
Inspecting and assessing the functionality of production machines to identify any issues.
Troubleshooting mechanical breakdowns and diagnosing problems promptly.
Adjusting mechanical parts using both hand and machine tools.
Fabricating parts for repairs and machine upgrades.
Conducting routine maintenance and safety checks to prevent unexpected failures.
Communicating effectively with the production team to coordinate maintenance activities.
Maintaining a clean work area and adhering to company work place procedures.
Preparing and submitting maintenance reports to document work performed.
Knowledge of use of tools pertaining to the position (example: multimeter)
Capable of understanding and following OSHA safety standards and regulations.
Perform machine preventative maintenance checks/procedures as required per the PM schedule (per QP 8) Tool repair and maintenance as required to maintain production. Support Production, Shipping, and any other assigned areas with support to maintain operation. Electrical repairs, power voltage, ability to work with up to 480 volts, install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical issues, including pneumatics and hydraulics.
Any other duties assigned by supervisor or management team

Requirements:

Ability to work in a team setting or individually with minimum supervision. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Shift flexibility required.
Qualifications
High school diploma required, plus 2-5 years of job-related experience.
