Maintenance Technician, Full-Time, Housing Services EveryAge is seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our Housing Services team at The Willows, Located at 124 Tarpley Street Burlington, NC 27215. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, proactive, and committed to upholding the highest standards of facility care. Essential Duties and Responsibilities 1. Follows daily, weekly and monthly cleaning, trash removal, and grounds keeping tasks as scheduled. 2. Cleans assigned areas of facility including carpets, walls, fixtures, appliances and structures. 3. Does touch up painting in common spaces and units as required. 4. Works with cleaning and maintenance chemical in a safe and proficient manner. 5. Does scheduled grounds keeping maintaining good curb appeal. 6. Completes preventive maintenance procedures as outlines in Manager’s Procedure Manual, documents same, and keeps manager informed about status of equipment. 7. Maintains accurate records for all work assigned, whether scheduled or on demand. 8. Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Education:
High school diploma preferred.
Requirements:
Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment. Knowledge of cleaning, painting, gardening, and general repairs. Familiarity with pest control practices.
Certifications:
HVAC, electrical, or plumbing certification strongly preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand, walk, lift, kneel, and use hands frequently throughout the day. Must be comfortable working both indoors and outdoors, around mechanical equipment and cleaning agents.
