What You’ll Be Doing:
Respond promptly to maintenance requests from residents Perform general maintenance and repair tasks including: Plumbing (e.g., unclogging drains, fixing leaks) Electrical (e.g., replacing fixtures or outlets) Carpentry and painting Appliance diagnostics and minor repairs Help maintain community grounds and common areas Troubleshoot and diagnose a variety of general maintenance issues Provide excellent customer service to residents and staff If licensed or certified, may handle more advanced maintenance tasks
Requirements:
Prior experience in apartment or facilities maintenance preferred Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and painting Ability to diagnose and resolve issues independently Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to bend, stoop, squat, kneel, and lift up to 50 lbs Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license Excellent communication and customer service skills Certifications (HVAC, CPO, etc.) a plus This is a hands-on role in a welcoming and professional environment, with opportunities to grow and make a long-term impact in a great South Asheville community.
