Description of Work The primary purpose of this position is to support mechanical trades at J. Iverson Riddle Developmental Center which includes HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and vehicle repair. Using knowledge gained from training and experience this position’s responsibilities include: assisting with HVAC and plumbing on routine and emergency repairs as well as assisting with electrical repairs and maintenance of facility lighting needs. This position will also assist with preventative maintenance, service, and repair on residential and commercial washer/dryers, ranges, and facility transportation. This position will be required to assist other trades within JIRDC’s Maintenance Department as needed, and assigned by management. This position is designated Mandatory and must report or stay over during adverse weather events. This is a re-post. All applicants remain under consideration and do not need to re-apply.
