Job Description
Maintenance Technician Confidential Hickory, NC 28602 Job Duties will include: Assisting Production personnel with diagnosing potential production problems. Completing Daily tasks given by Supervisor. Diagnosing potential breakdowns. Keep record of any problems that arise and present to Supervisor. Complete routine oil changes, lubrication, grease (agitators, gearboxes, motors etc.) Maintaining a clean and safe workplace. Employee must possess the following skill sets and be able to perform tasks accurately and efficiently: Ability to use Basic and advanced hand tools (gear pullers, precision levels and alignment tools, etc.) Ability to use basic and advanced power tools (reciprocating saw, hammer drill, mag drills, etc.) Ability to accurately use basic and moderately advanced measuring devices. Drive a forklift. Use lifting equipment (hoists, chain fall, come along etc.) Use standard shop equipment (bandsaw, hydraulic press, torches, welder etc.) Ability to lift a minimum of 50lbs. Ability to work at elevations over 50ft. Ability to work in confined or tight spaces. Basic PLC knowledge is a plus. Thorough understanding of general facility and equipment maintenance. (plumbing, electrical, construction, rigging, anchoring, etc.) Perform preventative maintenance tasks, to include but not limited to-machine lubrication, adjustments and alignments, part repairs, general safety and operational checks, etc. Ability to service and overhaul basic and some advanced components (air/hydraulic cylinders/motors, valve assemblies, pumps, motion elements, supporting sub-systems, etc.) Ability to work with minimal to no supervision. Work safely in compliance with company and OSHA safety guidelines. Keep a clean organized work area. Perform tasks in a timely manner. Ability to think quickly to prioritize outages and tasks while multitasking. Ability to quickly analyze and resolve issues with minimal assistance. Good oral and written communication skills. Pay $20.00 and up
