Summary The primary function of the Maintenance Technician is to support production operations through maintaining equipment and facilities. Essential Functions Troubleshoot and fix electrical issues in a manufacturing environment Eliminate problems through Root Cause Analysis Schedule and execute multi-tiered Preventative Maintenance program. Interacting with other departments to ensure the proper functioning of all systems in the facility. Comply with all safety and internal requirements set by OSHA and the Company. Troubleshoot and general repair of the building and facilities. A/C Inspections and maintenance. Preventative Maintenance on all production and maintenance machinery. Perform welding and machine fabrication Assist Maintenance Department with other duties and assignments as required. Additional Responsibilities Accomplishes all tasks as appropriate. Qualifications Education and Experience High School diploma or equivalent. Basic industrial electrical experience. Minimum of two to five years applicable maintenance experience. Special Skills Must have good mathematical aptitude, both in knowledge and practice. Must be capable of identifying technical problems and preventing and/or resolving issues rapidly. Requires project management skills, a logical approach to problem solving, analytical skills and a big-picture understanding with short term tactical focus. Ability to become forklift certified. Ability to lift 50 pounds as required. Ability to effectively communicate with cross-functional peers as well as upper level management. The ability to weld with both Mig & Stick Electrodes a plus The ability to make independent judgments and utilize problem solving skills. Ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and detailed drawings/schematics. Ability for strong detail in following procedures and technical specifications. Must be able to work flexible shifts and overtime. Competencies Motivated Proactive Strong interpersonal skills.
