Work from blueprints and drawings in order to determine where new electrical systems are to be installed. Determine such factors as load, demand, wire size, breaker size, and other such factors in order to provide proper balance in the new or existing system. Install, modify, and repair new and existing utility, supply, and disposal systems and equipment. Repair small to large commercial and industrial heing units such oil/gas fired furnaces and hot wer or steam boilers. Requirements Conditions of Employment Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determinion, as determined by a completed background investigion. Employee must obtain and maintain a valid ste driver’s license and any installion and/or DOD requirements for the type vehicle being opered. Position is weher essential. Employee may be required to report to work during periods of inclement weher. The employee must pass physical examinions as required by Federal and Office of Safety and Occupional Health Administrion guides. This position is subject to roting shifts, weekend and or holiday work schedules. Employee may be required to lift up to 45 pounds without assistance. I am able to perform the most difficult and complex Maintenance Mechanic tasks independently including: planning, laying out, installion and repair of large commercial and industrial air conditioning and heing systems, hot wer heers, gas and oil-fueled boilers, and chillers; applicion of the Nional Electrical Code and local codes while planning, laying out, installing, and repairing all facets of industrial multiphase electrical systems; planning, laying out, installion and repair of new and existing utility, supply, and disposal systems; repairing, constructing, and maintaining a variety of wooden structures requiring close tolerance fit and structural soundness; and working on large projects with complex issues and extensive repairs requiring difficult judgments. – Failure to meet this Screen Out Element will result in an ineligible ring.
PHYSICAL EFFORT
Employee works in shops and job sites. Strenuous physical exertion is often required. Employee may lift and move merials up to 45 pounds, unassisted, and occasionally lifts or moves heavier items with the assistance of lifting devices or other workers. Employee is required to stand, stoop, bend, kneel, climb, and work in tiring and uncomfortable positions for extended periods of time. Employee may work from ladders, scaffolding, and roofs performing the duties of this position.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Work is performed both inside and outside. Employee is exposed to modere or high noise levels, sawdust, glue fumes, and hazards associed with woodworking and reled power equipment when performing work in the shop area. Work job sites exposes employee to adverse weher conditions and the hazards of working on and around scaffolds and ladders. Employee is subject to cuts, bruises and contusions, electrical shock, cuts, and burns. May be required to work in confined areas such as crawl spaces and tics, which may be dusty and dirty.
