JOB SUMMARY

We are looking for a reliable and skilled Mobile Home Maintenance Technician to join our team and provide day-to-day maintenance services for our communities in the Fayetteville NC area.

Starting Date:

July The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for keeping the property safe, clean, and well-maintained, performing a variety of tasks from basic repairs to landscaping and ensuring communal areas remain in excellent condition. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and takes pride in delivering quality work.

Key Responsibilities:

Replace carpets, wooden floors, and other flooring as needed. Install and repair electrical components including wires, plugs, and switches. Clean and maintain communal areas — sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming regularly. Paint communal areas, unit interiors, and exterior walls. Properly dispose of trash and debris found in common areas. Perform landscaping duties such as mowing, trimming, and general upkeep. Track inventory and ensure adequate maintenance supplies are on hand. Inspect and maintain safety equipment — fire extinguishers, alarms, hydrants, and emergency exits. Perform basic plumbing and electrical repairs. Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent. Prior experience as a maintenance technician, preferably in a Mobile Home Park (MHP) or apartment setting. HVAC, CMRP, or equivalent certifications are a plus, but not required. Strong technical knowledge of maintenance procedures and equipment. Basic plumbing and electrical skills are essential. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and blueprints. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities. Strong organizational and interpersonal skills. Willingness to work weekends, if necessary. Professional communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with team members, residents, and management.
