Maintenance Technician Trainee – Earn While You Learn!

What You’ll Do:

Develop Hands-On Maintenance Skills
Learn from the Service Manager and Property Manager to build a strong foundation in apartment maintenance.
Assist in diagnosing and repairing HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance issues.
Help with unit turnovers, including trash removal, apartment make ready repairs and helping with final inspections.
Help with work orders, including assessing issues based on work order description and resolving for resident satisfaction.
Support Property Operations & Grounds Maintenance
Maintain property grounds and common areas by assisting with trash removal and general upkeep.
Gain Experience in Equipment & Preventative Maintenance
Observe and participate in preventative maintenance of property equipment and property.
Assist in repairing appliances, electrical systems, and plumbing fixtures under supervision.
Contribute to Special Projects
Help with painting, landscaping, and curb appeal enhancements.
Maintain an organized maintenance shop and track inventory supplies.

certifications.
We’ll provide structured training throughout.

What We’re Looking For:

Eagerness to learn: You don’t need experience – we just need your commitment to learning and growing!
Some technical or mechanical knowledge: Is a plus but not required.

Dependability:

Show up ready to learn and contribute to the team.
Willingness to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Valid driver’s license: A valid driver’s license is required to help with property maintenance tasks.

Starting Pay:

If you are hired at Morgan Properties, your overall compensation package will also be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience which may result in total compensation outside of this range.
