The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of various flooring types in commercial settings. This role requires expertise in environmental services, carpet cleaning, and general custodial tasks to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for all building occupants. Responsibilities Perform routine floor care tasks including sweeping, mopping, buffing, and vacuuming to maintain cleanliness. Execute carpet cleaning procedures using appropriate equipment and techniques. Conduct inspections of flooring surfaces to identify areas needing repair or special attention. Utilize proper cleaning chemicals and equipment in accordance with safety guidelines. Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages to management. Collaborate with other staff members to ensure all areas are cleaned efficiently and effectively. Adhere to all health and safety regulations while performing duties. Qualifications Previous experience in environmental services, commercial cleaning, or custodial work is preferred. Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing and carpet cleaning is highly desirable. Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality results. Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
