The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities through effective maintenance and repair of equipment and systems. This role requires a strong background in both electrical and mechanical systems, as well as the ability to supervise and lead maintenance projects. The Maintenance Technician will utilize their expertise in facilities maintenance to uphold safety standards and enhance operational efficiency. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on various equipment and systems within the facility. Supervise maintenance staff, providing leadership and guidance on best practices. Fabricate parts and components as needed to support ongoing operations. Conduct welding tasks to repair or create necessary equipment. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS). Troubleshoot electrical issues, including logic controllers, to ensure optimal performance of machinery. Collaborate with other departments to address facility-related concerns promptly. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean work environment. Experience Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field is essential. Strong mechanical knowledge, with the ability to troubleshoot and repair various systems. Electrical expertise is highly desirable, particularly with logic controllers. Previous supervisory experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership capabilities in a maintenance setting. Familiarity with CMMS software for tracking maintenance activities is beneficial.
